Company Background:

Rudolph Engineering and Construction, Inc. was founded in 1997 as a full service custom home construction company. In the past fourteen years, we have expanded our business to include light commercial construction, renovation and remodeling, speculative building, and cabinetry and millwork specialties. We are proud to have built some of the most impressive residential and commercial buildings in Bay County, and we are excited about the opportunities for the future.

  Founder Background:

Joseph Rudolph was born and raised in Panama City, and he understands this community and the people who call it home. Joe is a 1983 graduate of Bay High School and a 1988 graduate of Auburn University’s School of Mechanical Engineering. In 1992, based on a combination of professional practice and two intensive written exams, Joe received his Florida registration as a Professional Engineer (PE). Several years later, Joe undertook the process of sitting for his contractor’s examination, and was awarded registration as a Building Contractor. Since then, he has upgraded that license to a state certification. Prior to starting his company, Joe held engineering positions both in private industry as well as in Department of Defense research and development. Joe is co-holder of four patents in the area of applied heat transfer related to self-contained breathing equipment

  Awards and Designations:

Throughout his building career, Joe has been recognized and rewarded for results and performance, both by his peers and through other evaluations. In 1998, Joe and his company were awarded the prestigious Grand Aurora Award for Energy Efficiency by the Southeastern Building Conference. Three times since then, Joe has been recognized as the Builder of the Year by the Panama City – Bay County Homebuilder’s Association. He served as the Association’s president in 2003 and 2009. Joe was recognized as the “Best of Bay” in the Builder category for five straight years.
