Renovation

Unlike many local contractors, we welcome the opportunity to assist with your major renovation or remodeling effort. Our experience has included both residential and commercial renovation projects, from whole house remodeling, to additions, to everything in between.

Major renovations are a different type of project from new construction and often are not successfully handled by someone who only specializes in new construction contracting. We have found that remodeling and renovation require more of an "in-house" approach, and many contractors find that the overhead burden required to manage renovation work is more than they can comfortably handle. We maintain a full office staff to handle the day-to-day accounting and planning required for a major renovation, and we utilize the lead carpenter approach to jobsite management. With the jobsite and the office covered, senior management can concentrate on maintaining the quality control that is paramount to any successful construction project.

We also maintain a complete showroom to assist our clients with the planning of their project. Through a series of meetings, both at the client’s home and our showroom facility, we will walk through the steps to plan and execute your project. At initiation of the job, we will walk through the scope of work at your location, discuss working hours, mutual understandings for job cleanup, site management, furniture and possession protection, and progress reporting. At completion, we will again walk through the project to be sure that we complete the job with a mutual understanding that the scope of work has been achieved.
